As you are aware, the GST rate is about to increase from 12.5% to 15%.  This will have an impact on your accounting procedures.

To be ready, you will need to ensure all debtors and creditors are entered into your ledger by 30 September 2010.  This will help ensure the correct rate of GST is accounted for.

Please note that all GST registered person will be required to file a GST return for the period ending 30 September 2010 regardless of filing frequency.

Most accounting packages are currently being upgraded to take into account the GST rate change.  As these changes come to hand, we will post these on this website.
